Although, Super Eagles defender Olaoluwa Aina, Kelechi Iheanacho and a few others had a good display over the weekend they just couldn’t get a spot on the list.

5. Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin, Germany)

Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi scored again for Union Berlin who edged Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in Friday’s Bundesliga game.

It was his second league goal within four days after his goal for Berlin in their 2-2 draw against Stuttgart.

He opened scoring for Union Berlin in the 57th minute before Youssoufa Moukoko equalised for Dortmund on 60 minutes.

But with 12 minutes left in the game Marvin Friedrich got the winner for Union Berlin.

1. Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England)

Although, Jamie Vardy’s goal from the spot kick and an own goal from Toby Alderweireld gifted Leicester City the 2-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Wilfred Ndidi’s input cannot be push aside.

The Nigerian midfielder ticked all the boxes as The Foxes secured all the points against a Jose Mourinho tutoured Tottenahm in their stadium to the shock of football betting fans.
