Our expert tipster has taken a look at a number of football betting tips and has put together his top selections from around the top European Leagues ahead of a busy weekend of games.
European Football Preview
A team vying for the title host a side who are just a point away from getting out of the relegation zone, and third play fifth in some of the big games around Europe this weekend. In Spain’s La Liga, joint-top side Atletico Madrid face off with third-from-bottom SD Huesca, while in Germany, third place Wolfsburg will welcome Champions League chasing Borussia Dortmund.
Elsewhere across the leagues, the Ligue 1 title race is hotting up, with just 3 points separating top of the table Lille from the team they visit in fourth place; Lyon. Second and third place PSG and Monaco are both heavy favourites when they travel to Metz and Angers, so this weekend is massive in France’s top league.
We’ll also see second place AC Milan travel to face Lazio, who are just a couple of points away from fifth place, and the automatic European space that comes with it.

Odds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.
Seville v Granada Betting Odds
Both of these sides absolutely need a win this weekend, but the bookies seem pretty confident that one side are more likely to do that than the other. Home side Seville are pretty tough to back as 2/5 favourites, while a draw is priced at 15/4 and Granada are a gigantic 13/2 to pull off the upset. We quite fancy Seville to get the win here, so you’ll probably need to check out our La Liga treble recommendation to get any value from this match.
Lyon v Lille Betting Odds
There is no room for Lille to mess up as they cling on to their lead in the Ligue 1 title race. Both sides will be well aware of this fact, so expect a cagey affair this Sunday evening. PSG and Monaco are 4/13 and 10/19 favourites to beat Metz and Angers respectively. Lille are, stunningly, underdogs to the lower-ranked Lyon, with a price of 49/20 to the hosts’ 23/20. A draw, which actually looks a good bet this time around, is marketed at 12/5.
Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund Betting Odds
Jadon Sancho and Manuel Akanji scored to give Dortmund a win last time these two played, but we’re expecting it to be a close affair this time around. Bookies are leaving towards a Dortmund win at 6/5, but this is a game with fantastic value. The draw is 14/5, while Wolfsburg are very minor underdogs at 2/1.
Lazio v AC Milan Betting Odds
Second place AC Milan are actually underdogs when they travel to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome this weekend at 37/20. The draw is 57/20, while Lazio are slight favourites at 13/10.
