After an eventful opening round of matches in the German Bundesliga, the teams are ready to go again on Matchday two of the 2021/22 season with a lot still to play for in the league.
Champions Bayern Munich showed off their pedigree to convincingly trounce Borussia Dortmund in the Super Cup, and they would look to take that form into the league.
Here is our matchday two preview and tips from our in-house experts;
RB Leipzig vs Stuttgart: After a disappointing start to life under new manager Jesse Marsch, Leipzig will look to bounce back against a less-heralded Stuttgart side.
Leipzig lost on opening day to a Mainz side that picked themselves due to a COVID outbreak, and the club will hope that the result was just a fluke.
Stuttgart picked up a somewhat surprising 5-1 win over newly-promoted Greuther Furth and may ride that wave against Leipzig.
The home side remain the favourites to win the game and have been given 1.45 odds of winning. A Stuttgart win has been set at 6.25 odds, and a draw has been set for 4.55 odds.
Frankfurt vs Augsburg: Two sides that got bashed on the opening day will face off in a crucial game for both of them. Frankfurt lost to Borussia Dortmund as Augsburg fell to a home defeat against Hoffenheim.
They would both be looking to pick up an important win that can kickstart their season. Frankfurt are favourites to emerge victorious in the match, and have been given 1.60 odds of winning. Augsburg got 4.90 odds of winning, and a draw has been pegged at 4.20 odds.
Freiburg vs Borussia Dortmund: After a blistering start to the season, Borussia Dortmund received a reality check in their Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich.
They would be looking to push past that and continue their impressive start to domestic football. Freiburg played a drab draw on the opening day of the season, and would be looking to avoid a defeat to Dortmund.
They are the clear underdogs in the match and have been given 5.50 odds of winning. Dortmund have gotten 1.51 odds of winning, and a draw has been set at 4.50 odds.
Hertha Berlin vs Wolfsburg: After an opening day win for Wolfsburg and defeat for Hertha Berlin, both sides will have it out for each other when they face off in what is expected to be a close contest between the sides.
Hertha have been given 2.95 odds of winning, while Wolfsburg got 2.35 odds of winning. A draw has been pegged at 3.30 odds.
Bochum vs Mainz: Mainz will look to build on their opening day win over Leipzig when they take on Bochum after Bochum fell to a defeat in their own opening day match against Wolfsburg.
This is another encounter that is expected to be closely fought between a depleted Mainz side and Bochum. Bochum have been given 2.55 odds of winning the match, with Mainz getting 2.60 odds of winning. A draw between the sides has been pegged at 3.45 odds.
Greuther Furth vs Arminia Bielefeld: Following their goalless draw against Freiburg on matchday one, Arminia will face the side that was demolished by Stuttgart, Greuther Furth, knowing that the points are there for the taking in the clash.
Furth have been given 2.55 odds of winning the game and Arminia have been given 2.70 odds. A draw has been set at 3.30 odds.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Monchengladbach: Unarguably the week’s biggest match pits Leverkusen and Monchengladbach against each other. Both sides could only manage draws on the opening matchday, and would be eager to pick up their first win of the season here.
Leverkusen have been given 2.30 odds of winning, with Monchengladbach getting 2.90 odds of winning the match. A draw has been pegged at 3.45 odds.
Hoffenheim vs Union Berlin: Hoffenheim would be looking to build on their impressive matchday one win and performance when they take on Union Berlin on matchday two.

Bayern Munich vs Cologne: Cologne face a challenging task when they travel to Allianz Arena for their match against a rejuvenated Bayern Munich side.
Cologne won their opening day match but now face an uphill task to repeat the feat against Bayern Munich.
They are the underdogs in this clash, and have been given 20 odds of picking up a win. A draw has been pegged at 9.25 odds, and a Bayern Munich win has been set at 1.12 odds.
