Looks like Paul Onuachu is not going to stop scoring after bagging his 19th league goal of the season in Belgium while there was a reunion between John Mikel Obi and Wilfred Ndidi in the English FA Cup.
The duo were not the only Nigerian players who were in action in the FA Cup – Olaoluwa Aina, Semi Ajayi, Eberechi Eze, Kelechi Iheanacho and a host of others were involved.
Just as the world’s oldest competition was ongoing in England, league games were played across Europe with Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and a few others getting involved for their respective clubs.

Ola Aina (Fulham, England)
Ola Aina was on the pitch the entire time in Fulham 2-0 extra time FA Cup win against Queens Park Rangers in the London Derby.
The former Chelsea player on-loan from Torino helped his team defensively as they snapped their 5-game winless run with the third round win against their rivals.
Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England)
Wilfred Ndidi was involved in midfield battle with his childhood hero, John Mikel Obi in Leicester City’s 4-0 away win on Saturday.
The 24-year-old midfielder was on the pitch the entire time as Leicester City rolled Stoke City over. He gave a good account himself despite going up against Mikel Obi.
Semi Ajayi (West Brom, England)
Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi was on target in West Brom third round loss to Blackpool on Saturday.
Ajayi headed home to make it 1-1 for West Brom but after extra time the score-line ended 2-2 and the game headed for penalty shootout where Blackpool won 3-2.
It was Semi Ajayi’s 20th goal in four seasons having bagged 5 in 2017/18 season, 8 in 2018/19 season, 5 in 2019/20 season and two this season.
In fact, he has scored 12 headed goals since the start of the 2017/18 campaign; only Sean Morrison (13) and Will Boyle (15) have scored more amongst defenders in all competitions in the English top four tiers.
Terem Moffi (Lorient, France)
Nigerian striker Terem Moffi scored in his third consecutive French Ligue one games after hitting the back of the net in Lorient’s 2-1 away loss to Bordeaux.
Remi Oudin in the 13th minute gave Bordeaux the lead in the 13th minute of the game at the Matmut Atlantique on Saturday.
Nigeria’s 21-year-old striker Terem Moffi equalised for Lorient in the 23rd minute of the game after double attempts.
Moffi scored the goal with his head after his initial attempt was parried back to him. The home team then got the winning goal in the 43rd minute through Remi Oudin.
Terem Moffi who was on the pitch the entire duration of the game and his teammates pushed for an equaliser but they didn’t get it.
As Remi Oudin’s brace was enough for the home team who and ensured Moffi and his teammates failed to get a point from their journey.
Moffi who has scored three goals in his last three games has a total of four league goals in thirteen league games.
Paul Onuachu (Genk, Belgium)
Paul Onuachu scored his 19th goal of the season in Genk’s 2-1 loss to Kortrijk in a Belgian top flight game on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker scored a super goal to matched his career personal best of 19 goals in a season.
Pape Habib Gueye opened the scoring for the home team in the 23rd minute of and Paul Onuachu equalised for the visitors in the 41st minute of the game.
Paul Onuachu scored with his head after nodding home form Daniel Munoz cross for his 19th league goal of the season.
It was the second time in his career that he is scoring 19 league after achieving it in 2016/17 season during his time at Midtjylland.
So far this he has scored 19 goals in 19 games this season.
