Group E to H games held on Tuesday night, and Wednesday’s matches would see the likes of Bayern join other teams for the next round.

Here’s a preview of some of the key matches for Wednesday night

INTER MILAN VS REAL MADRID

These two teams find themselves in a group that has Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk alongside themselves, and these two teams are the ones on top of the table, as Monchengladbach lead with 5 points, and Shakhtar tied on 4 Points with Real Madrid, but lead with head to head record.

Inter Milan are bottom of that group B, and Wednesday night’s game is very crucial to them if they want to make it to the round of 16.

The game is also crucial to the Spanish Champions chances of qualifying to the next stage.

Inter at the weekend ended their winless run of four games as they beat Torino 4-2 with their Talisman, Romelu Lukaku who returned getting involved in all four goals.

For Real Madrid, they drew against Villarreal at the weekend, and they could be once again be without their key man, Sergio Ramos who’s out due to injury.

Madrid have never beaten Inter Milan at the Guiseppe Meazza and it does seem like Wednesday night wouldn’t be an avenue for them to break the hoodoo. The game could end in a draw.

BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH VS SHAKHTAR DONETSK

This fixture 3 weeks ago was a total annihilation of Shakhtar Donetsk at home as they were beaten 6-0.

Monchengladbach attacking football has seen them score 10 goals in 3 group stage matches, and will be looking to secure a successive win over the Ukrainian side.

Shakhtar on their part, will be all out for a revenge even with a number of absentees having to sit this one out.

Shakhtar would try very hard to get this one to themselves, but Monchengladbach’s goalscoring form should hand them another win in the UEFA Champions League.

LIVERPOOL VS ATALANTA

The reverse fixture in Italy, was a heavy defeat for Atalanta, as they couldn’t even get a goal.

Liverpool will be looking to record 4 consecutive victories in the UEFA Champions League for the first time since March 2009, and having to want to qualify after tomorrow’s game is one reason why Atalanta will have to work extremely hard to stop the reds even with Diogo Jota’s goalscoring form.

Atalanta can be confident at Anfield, as they’ve won their last 3 away UEFA Champions League fixtures , and scoring 3 goals each.

This game should provides goals from both ends this time around.
