Great weekend it was for Nigerian footballers plying their trades in Europe.
Victor Osimhen, Josh Maja, Paul Onuachu, and Simy Nwankwo were all on target for their clubs in Europe while the likes of Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo were also involved for their clubs.

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was in action his side Everton played a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby on Saturday.

A team with Mikel Obi covering the back four would always challenge for titles. The retired Super Eagles star was in action again for Stoke as they secured a 2-0 win at Luton Town.
Mikel was in action from the beginning to the end as Stoke City kept another clean sheet and his effort is also recognized by his manager.
4. Josh Maja (Bordeaux, France)
Super Eagles strike Josh Maja came from the bench to score a super goal for Bordeaux in their 3-1 loss to Olympique Marseille on Saturday.
Maja did a good job before scoring a fantastic goal which was just a consolation for his side in their loss to OM.
3. Simy Nwankwo (Crotone, Italy)
Simy Nwankwo wasn’t fazed by the presence of Juventus stars as he helped his newly promoted Crotone to a 1-1 draw against Juventus.
The lanky Nigerian striker converted from the 12-yard to give Crotone the lead before former Real Madrid, Atletico and Chelsea star Alvaro Morata equalized for the champions.
2. Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy)
Victor Osimhen finally scored his first Italian Serie A goal and he did a grand style. Victor only needed an assist from the goalkeeper before putting his name on the score sheet.
It was a goal that he deserved after all the work he has put in for his club in their previous games and his coach, Gennaro Gattuso was happy for him.

Big Paul continued from where he left it off before going on the international break. He scored his 8th goal of the season to help Genk to a 2-1 win against Sporting Charleroi on Sunday,
Paul Onuachu maintained and increased his position at the top of the Belgian pro league top scorer chart with one more goal than the nearest player.
